The Crain’s Chicago Business Largest Accounting Firms survey is calculated based on an annual analysis of the size of local professional staff as of June 30, 2024. The list of the 29 largest accounting firms range in size from 42 to 5,538 professional staff members in the Chicago metropolitan area, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will Counties in Illinois, and Lake County, Indiana.
