Overview
Tina Chen is ORBA’s Human Resources Director. She works closely with all members of the ORBA family to counsel and identify needs and provide solutions. She provides strategic advice with effective solutions to enhance business performance. Tina leads programs across the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring/coaching, performance management, career pathing, learning and development, HR disciplinary actions and offboarding. She also manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Tina works closely with ORBA management and employees to build a strong culture, attract talent, drive engagement, and increase productivity and retention.

Tina is effective at driving organizational change. She develops and executes HR programs with a focus on people management. Tina is a successful mentor, leadership and performance coach with the ability to engage with talent across all levels and industries. She addresses employee-related issues discreetly and with compassion. She also acts as an employee champion and change agent. As ORBA’s HR Director she is also dedicated to employee engagement and outreach and consistently maintains a deep understanding of HR processes including talent acquisition and performance management. Tina has a strong ability to drive ORBA’s business success by focusing on people development and related disciplines which enhances retention, growth and workforce stability.
Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Tina loves to travel with her husband, experiencing and exploring various cultures: especially their cuisine. She also enjoys movies and shows, particularly murder mysteries.
